I felt great going into the race and really thought if everything clicked I'd be able to run 13:40's. I won't bore you with excuses and reasonings, but I still think I can run in the 13:40's if I get another chance at it. However, with championships meets coming up and lack of meets on the East coast, it most likely won...

It was a very windy day in Lowell, but I handled it very well with an 8-sec PR for 1st. Usually before a big 5k, Coach G has us race the 2 mile in order to get the feeling of the race pace for 5k. Even with windy conditions, I was able to stay the most relaxed I have ever been in a race and then close very well. Definitely a good confidence booster for Mt.SAC. I am hoping to run somewhere between 13:42-13:...
