Yesterday I raced the George Davis Invite 2 mile at home. It was a very windy day in Lowell, but I handled it very well with an 8-sec PR for 1st. Usually before a big 5k, Coach G has us race the 2 mile in order to get the feeling of the race pace for 5k. Even with windy conditions, I was able to stay the most relaxed I have ever been in a race and then close very well. Definitely a good confidence booster for Mt.SAC. I am hoping to run somewhere between 13:42-13:45 if everything goes well.
