Summary: 101miles (14.4mi/day). Another great week in the books! I felt very strong on most of my runs and in control. Despite the weather not being ideal (cold and rainy most days), I remained disciplined and was able to get all my runs in as planned. Thursday's medium long run went much better than I expected. I was really surprised to see how easy it was to turn the legs over at 5:40 pace for the last 6 miles or so. This is by far the best I've felt during a normal mileage strictly base phase, which typically leads me to a successful marathon phase. It's almost a miracle to think that 4 months ago I couldn't even run a mile under 8 minutes! I'm grateful for where I am in my training and am looking forward to what the future holds. Despite there being no signs of races planned for me, I remain focused on the things I can control for now: my discipline and consistency in training. I'm taking it one day at a time while thinking about my goals even if they feel so far away.
