Below are my first two weeks of training/PT. I have been going to Fitzgerald PT in Woburn to do a lot of stability, conditioning and balance exercises as prescribed by my surgeon in order to gain strength back in my knee area. I can already feel a big difference fro mmy first day of evaluations. I nanother 2 weeks I will get re-evaluated by my physical therapist to see how much more PT work I need. So far it's been a very quick turnaround and I have pretty much full range of motion. Thanks to the Alter-G available at Fitzgerald, getting back to workoutsis going in a much more controlled manner.
Week 2
May 27 - 6 miles +8x1min on 1min off + PT exercises
May 28 - am: 7miles pm:20min aquajog
May 29 - 7 miles + PT exercises
May 30 - 5 miles
May 31 - 6 miles + PT exercises
June 1 - 10 miles on alter g with 7x5min on 1:30off, pm: 6 miles +8xstrides
June 2 - 10 miles
Week 1
May 20 - 1 mile + PT exercises
May 21 - 1 mile + PT exercises
May 22 - 40min aquajog + PT
May 23 - 2 miles
May 24 - 3 miles + PT exercises
May 25 - 4 miles + PT exercises
May 26 - 5 miles +5xstrides
Week 2
May 27 - 6 miles +8x1min on 1min off + PT exercises
