Another good week of training. Around this last year, I made huge progress in my fitness and I am hoping to get the same accomplished this time again. I might be doing a 3k on Dec 26th BU mini meet when I confirm this with Coach G. If yes, expect me to be going for a very fast time, low 8min hopefully. For now, just have to keep plugging in the miles and hitting the roads.

ReplyDeleteI thought you, Eric, and the others would be racing on December 26th? I was going to race the week after- and even then, I think 5:20 through 2k would be a little hot for me right now. Coming to BU and doing more tempo type stuff showed me how aerobically weak I still am. If I had to put a time goal on my 3k (it's just a fitness check, really) it would be in the 8:15-8:25 range.
